Ying Yang Cinema was founded by Anneli Gelbard and Fansu Njie 2004. Today Anneli runs the company but coworks with Fansu who is freelancing.
About Anneli
Today
She is currently travelling back and forth between London and Gothenburg developing a feature filmscript for Bad Dreams together with Fansu Njie and Igor Zor. First draft of the suspence/thriller Bad Dreams should be ready in January 2012. A synopsis and a scriptment can be sent to producers who are interested. Besides that Anneli is writing a theatre/musical/opera called Kaixin. Samples of music written by Thomas Hagby and a synopsis is available for musical artists or producers.
Her background
Anneli has studied art, photography and film for over 6 years. After her education at Munkebacks gymnasium she developed her technical skills in Gamleby at the TV/Film-school. She has been a script assistant for Filippa Pierrou and a prop assistant for Peter Bavman before she started to write and direct. Since 2002 she has directed and produced short films, commercials and music videos. In 2011 she improved her directing skills at the LFA in London where well known artists like Asif Kapadia and Richard Kwietniowski were personally coaching her.
